This is an implementation of an elementary cellular automation using Blender 4.1 geometry nodes. The presence of a cell on any row is determined by a rule applied to the value of its immediate parent and its siblings. The default configuration is a single active cell in the middle of the first row. A random distribution can also be set on the first row. Various rules can be selected by a drop-down menu. The output is a diagram containing ico-spheres representing the active nodes as specified by the given rule.
I've updated this to include a node to generate parameterized 3-sided pyramids.
